I'm a Bay Area native and Berkeley alum who is passionate about using technology to solve everyday problems. I've spent my career building apps and experiences used by millions of people in industries ranging from electric vehicles to TV streaming to data storage. I find joy in the iterations to perfect the small details that compound to a delightful user experience.
When I'm not on my computer, I can be found outdoors - camping and hiking in the summer, skiing in the winter and running and cycling year-round. I also love to cook and try to experiment with a new recipe every week.
I've been fortunate enough to have worked on a variety of awesome products over the years, ranging from household name applications to rapidly evolving products at high-growth startups.
My core skillset is using modern web frontend technologies to build dynamic, performant and robust applications.
My particular interests include frontend architecture, application performance, visual design and developer experience.
While I've spent most of my career on the frontend, I've also worked on a variety of different backends, including content management systems built in PHP to monolith Python backends to Node microservices.
I also enjoy experimenting with different technologies on the occasional rainy day, including web frameworks, programming languages and, more recently, machine learning.
